BARBACK - FULL TIME
Summary: Cleans bar and equipment, and replenishes bar supplies such as liquor, fruit, ice, and dishes. Assist bartender in maintaining bar setup, stocking, and cleanliness. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Essential Functions:
Completes all opening and closing side work.
Stocks and re-stocks refrigerating units with wines and bottled beer.
Mixes and prepares flavors for mixed drinks.
Washes glasses, bar, and equipment, and polishes bar fixtures.
Mops floors
Replaces empty beer kegs with full ones.
Slices and pits fruit used to garnish drinks.
Removes empty bottles and trash.
Be present at bar at all times.
Obtain bar food orders from the kitchen.
Assist bartender as needed.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Complete other duties as assigned by manager to include cross training.
Stocking the bar stations to par
Adhere to grooming guidelines, wear Z-pin, proper uniform standards
Follow all proper Hotel safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed.
Tools and Equipment:
Coffee maker/urn, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, barware and accompanying bar supplies.
Working Environment:
Interior of hotel, in the bar, restaurant, and kitchen.
Exposure to hazardous cleaning chemicals, extreme temperatures, and various food and beverage items that may be allergens.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to:

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; able to push and pull objects
Specific vision abilities required by this job to see, read, write, and use a computer
Must be able to communicate with guests in English.
