A preschool teacher educates and supervises children, focusing on early developmental skills through play-based learning, structured lessons, and creative activities. Key duties include fostering social-emotional growth, maintaining a safe classroom, and communicating child progress to parents.Curriculum & Instruction: Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum (letters, numbers, shapes, colors) tailored to young learners.Classroom Management: Create a nurturing, safe, and clean environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.Developmental Support: Foster emotional, social, and academic growth through play, storytelling, and hands-on activities.Observation & Reporting: Monitor student progress, behavior, and emotional needs, keeping detailed records and reporting to parents.Supervision: Monitor children during classroom activities, meals, nap time, and outdoor play.Collaboration: Work with parents, guardians, and other staff to support each child's development.RequirementsEducation: A degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a Technical Certificate Credit (TCC).Classroom Management: Ability to stay calm in stressful situations and manage high-energy environments.Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for engaging with children and parents.Creativity: Ability to design engaging, educational, and fun activities.
