With whale watching, fishing, hiking trails and many more outdoor adventures readily available, this coastal region is a place to immerse yourself in its landscape and history.Up to $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation available for eligible rehires and external hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.Job Summary:Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. This position is represented by UFCW.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred Licenses/Certifications:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): RequiredRadiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CAAdvanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CABasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredFluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and ORVenipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and ORARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required Facility Specific License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: RequiredVenipuncture (IV) certification: Required Essential Functions:Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Organizational Requirements:Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
