You will interact with internal and external applicants in order to support the department goal of recruiting and onboarding new hires. This position actively supports candidate sourcing and screening, background screening and onboarding activities providing a customer focused and effective human resources support service to the firm to achieve the firm goals and objectives.The Day-To-DayOn Any Given Day, You WillMaintains the applicant tracking system, including opening and closing positions, scheduling interviews, updating candidate records, etc.Posts positions on a variety of sites such as social media, associations, universities, veteran and disability organizations, etc.Generates fee agreements and maintain relationships with search firms/external vendorsSupports onboarding activities for new hires, including creating offer letters, background screenings, verification of new hire documents while ensuring a positive onboarding experienceUpdates and maintains the Firm’s internal staff recruiting sitePrepares and updates job postingsAssesses and conducts candidate outreach and recruitment efforts. Assists with candidate sourcing and screeningPerforms other tasks and projects as neededYou HaveBachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience0-1 year of experience in recruiting, preferably in a law firm or related service industryKnowledge of Workday, iCIMS or a similar applicant tracking systemStrong interpersonal, analytical and business acumen skill; ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain confidentialityKnowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systemsDemonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writingDemonstrates close attention to detailAbility to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentialityAbility to handle multiple assignments and shifting prioritiesAbility to organize and prioritize workAbility to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently as well as effectively within a teamDemonstrates a commitment to quality of finished productAbility to problem solveWhat We ProvideSeyfarth provides competitive salary and benefits at all levels, and our culture embraces the entrepreneurial spirit of its professionals like no other firm. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographical location and business or organizational needs.
