SUMMARY: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves supporting our sales representatives, processing in-house projects, project related customer communications, assisting production engineering team, and pricing new equipment. Experience with SolidWorks is highly preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Support:Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer needs and project requirements.Review and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.Order Processing:Manage the flow of in-house projects from initial inquiry through to completion.Ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner and meet customer specifications.Oversee the documentation and administrative aspects of order processing.Customer Communication:Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and accurate information.Address any issues or concerns raised by customers, ensuring their satisfaction.Maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the main point of contact for project-related queries.Production Engineering Assistance:Collaborate with production engineers to ensure projects are designed and manufactured to meet customer expectations.Assist in the creation and review of technical drawings, ensuring all designs are feasible and efficient.Provide technical support in troubleshooting and resolving any challenges that arise during production.Equipment Pricing:Develop accurate pricing models for new equipment, considering material costs, labor, and overhead.Work with the procurement team to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.Provide pricing information to the sales team in a timely manner.Technical Knowledge:Utilize your understanding of ventilation systems, particularly dust collection, to inform project decisions.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in dust collection and ventilation technologies.Ensure all projects meet relevant safety and performance standards. EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related field. QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.Experience with dust collection systems, ventilation, or a related industry is highly desirable. SKILLS:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.SolidWorks experience is preferred.Technical knowledge in ventilation systems and dust collection.Fluency in Spanish is preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments. The work environment will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
