Requisition ID :20558 Employment Type :Full Time Job Category :Vending Management Work Location :Columbus, OH BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: The Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist ensures customer satisfaction through solutions by providing on-site customer service support including order replenishment, product put away, Lean (6S), maintaining solutions equipment etc. This role will partner with sales and business development teams to drive incremental revenue and growth through solutions. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Drives MSC customer loyalty through the support and promotion of solutions.<li>Supports and collaborates with MSC customer solutions and sales associates through execution of CARE program.<li>CARE is defined as Clean, Arrange, Relationships, Exceed Expectations and includes.<li>Maintains 6S appearance of all solutions equipment.<li>Daily logging of activity in SFDC<li>Ensures appropriate stock levels min/max are maintained.<li>Unpacks, receives, puts away product at all solution points of use.<li>Connects with customer contact to ensure retention of solution.<li>Drives product expansion through spot buy and incremental solution growth.<li>Lead focus of 100% safety compliance for VMIS team<li>Repair and maintain vending solution equipment to company standards.<li>Recommend Opportunities for Solutions / Spot Buy Growth to Sales Associate and Sales Management while documenting this information within SFDC accordingly.<li>Responsible for supporting shared profitability improvement goals and objectives within assigned accounts.<li>Maintain knowledge of all inventory management solutions.<li>Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customers.<li>Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.<li>Utilizes routing software tools to adhere to planned schedule as well as document daily activities.<li>Maintain daily time keeping utilizing MSC approved time management applications.<li>Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC?s vision and unity of purpose.<li>Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.</ul>EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>A High School Diploma or the equivalent is required.<li>Inventory Management or Customer Service experience preferred.<li>Relevant Military experience a plus.</ul>SKILLS:<ul><li>Great customer service required.<li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.<li>Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft office applications required.<li>Excellent time management and organizational skills required.</ul>OTHER REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>A valid driver's license is required.<li>Position requires over 80% of daily travel within assigned territory.<li>Occasional overnight travel will be required.<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required.<li>Ability to consistently walk, lift, bend, stretch, stand for long periods of time is required.<li>Must be willing to adhere to customer safety and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocol.<li>This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (ITAR) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).</ul>Compensation starting at $19 - $20 per hour depending on candidate location and experience. The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
