Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Athletic Trainer located in Virginia Beach, VA. In a brand new state of the art facility. The Athletic Trainer will oversee the prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries for student-athletes. Responsibilities include leading conditioning and training programs, ensuring compliance with sports safety protocols, providing on-field emergency care during practices and games, and communicating with coaches, healthcare professionals, and families about student-athlete care. Qualifications Certification as an Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC) and current licensure in the state of VirginiaProficiency in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation techniquesStrong knowledge of sports safety protocols and emergency care proceduresExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with coaches, healthcare providers, and familiesOrganizational skills to manage multiple priorities and maintain documentationCPR/AED certificationBachelor's or advanced degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or a related fieldPrevious experience in a school or youth athletic setting is preferred
