Urgent Care Physician Job Details Location: Quincy, IL (Illinois urgent care jobs)Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Start Date: April 1, 2026End Date: July 1, 2026Duration: 13-week assignmentShifts: 12-hour shifts (10a-10p or 6a-6p), typically 4 consecutive daysHours per Week: 36 Physician Qualifications MD or DO degree requiredBoard certified or board eligible in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency MedicineActive and unrestricted Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain for Illinois healthcare jobs)Minimum 1 year of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settingsProficient in urgent care procedures such as splinting and suturing Urgent Care Physician Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in a busy walk-in urgent care clinic (average 60-70 patients per day, shared among 3 providers)Perform urgent care procedures including splinting and suturingIndependently manage patients during assigned shifts (MD/DO may be solo from 6a-9a; NP may be solo from 9p-10p)Collaborate with nurse practitioners and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flowProvide compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse patient populationApply now to join our urgent care team in Quincy, Illinois and make a difference in local healthcare!
