Assistant Property ManagerAn Irvine-based real estate investment and property management firm is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join its growing team. This role supports the management of a mixed portfolio of office, residential, and industrial properties and requires a balance of tenant-facing responsibilities and financial/administrative duties.The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, accountability, and a willingness to go above and beyond to complete tasks are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the day-to-day management of a diverse property portfolio (office, residential, industrial)Spend approximately 50% of time in the field conducting property visits and inspectionsPrepare and manage CAM reconciliations, budgets, and variance narrativesProcess accounts payable, including invoice review and codingHandle work orders and coordinate with vendors and tenantsMaintain timely communication by responding to emails, voicemails, and internal requests throughout the dayBuild and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, ownership, and internal teamsSupport budget oversight, operating expense reconciliations, and financial reportingConduct internet research and utilize Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and trackingQualificationsExperience with CAM reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reportingAbility to prepare detailed property budgets and analyze variancesWorking knowledge of building systems (HVAC, elevators, plumbing, electrical, fire-life-safety systems, etc.)Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCustomer-service oriented with strong interpersonal skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaborativelyHigh attention to detail and accountabilityWork Style ExpectationsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently research and resolve issuesReliable, responsive, and communicative regarding daily activities and whereaboutsWillingness to complete tasks fully, including staying briefly beyond standard hours when neededConsistent follow-through and ownership of responsibilitiesPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periodsFrequent use of a computer, phone, and office equipmentCompensation & Benefits100% company-paid medical, dental, and life insurance premiums (employee only)401(k) retirement planTwo (2) weeks of paid vacation annuallyTen (10) paid sick days annuallyNine (9) paid holidaysAnnual company outingIf you are looking for a hands-on role with growth potential in a dynamic real estate environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and driven team.
