This role is central to maintaining inventory integrity, leading warehouse staff, and ensuring all inbound and outbound logistics are executed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, hands-on, and capable of balancing leadership responsibilities with active involvement in day-to-day warehouse activities. You will play a key role in driving operational performance, improving processes, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.Responsibilities:Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shippingEnsure inventory accuracy through proper receiving procedures, system transactions, cycle counts, and full physical inventory countsInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse layoutManage all inbound and outbound shipments, verifying incoming goods against packing lists and purchase ordersEnsure outgoing shipments meet customer requirements, internal standards, and delivery timelinesCoordinate with freight carriers and internal teams to support smooth and efficient logistics operationsSupervise warehouse staff, including scheduling, task assignments, training, and day-to-day oversightTrain, coach, and evaluate warehouse employees to ensure productivity and performance standards are consistently metMaintain accurate inventory levels through regular audits and inventory control systemsEnforce safety protocols, company policies, and operational discipline across the warehouseEnsure accurate data entry and documentation within company systems and maintain required warehouse recordsResolve issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies in a timely mannerSupport audits, reporting requirements, and internal operational reviews as neededOversee proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and facility upkeepIdentify and implement opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and accuracy improvementsTake full ownership of warehouse performance, inventory integrity, and operational outcomesMonitor and achieve assigned KPIs and performance targetsPerform additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications:5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or distribution, including supervisory or management responsibilityStrong understanding of inventory control systems, cycle counts, and warehouse management best practicesExperience managing inbound/outbound logistics and coordinating with freight carriersProven leadership experience with the ability to train, coach, and hold teams accountableStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skillsProficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP platformsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting prioritiesStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departmentsPhysically capable of standing, walking, and lifting heavy items as requiredFlexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as operational needs dictateCompensation:$70,000 - $80,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)Performance-based bonus potentialOpportunity to join a stable, growing organization with strong operational infrastructure and long-term career potential
