Employment Type:Full timeShift:Description:The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pain Management practice provides specialized, patient centered care to individuals experiencing acute, chronic, and complex pain. This role supports interventional pain procedures, coordinates pre and post procedure care, conducts comprehensive pain assessments, and ensures safe medication and controlled substance workflows. The RN delivers compassionate clinical support, patient education, and symptom management while working closely with pain physicians and the interdisciplinary team. This position is essential in promoting safe, effective, and timely care, enhancing the patient experience, and supporting high-quality outcomes within a fast-paced pain management environment.PostingPurpose: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pain Management practice provides specialized, patient‐centered care to individuals experiencing acute, chronic, and complex pain. This role supports interventional pain procedures, coordinates pre‐ and post‐procedure care, conducts comprehensive pain assessments, and ensures safe medication and controlled‐substance workflows. The RN delivers compassionate clinical support, patient education, and symptom management while working closely with pain physicians and the interdisciplinary team. This position is essential in promoting safe, effective, and timely care, enhancing the patient experience, and supporting high-quality outcomes within a fast‐paced pain management environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing pain evaluations and interventional procedures.Perform thorough pain assessments, medication reconciliation, triage, and symptom management.Prepare patients for procedures and assist providers during injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and neuromodulation visits.Coordinate testing, pre-procedure clearances, follow-up care, and ongoing treatment plans.Support opioid stewardship and ensure compliance with controlled‐substance protocols.Provide patient education regarding procedures, medication use, postoperative instructions, and chronic pain strategies.Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record.Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary team.Uphold safety, infection control, and patient identification standards at all times.Contribute to team communication, workflow optimization, and quality improvement initiatives.QualificationsCurrent Florida RN license required.BLS certification required.Previous experience in Pain Management, Neuroscience, Orthopedics, or a procedural specialty preferred.Strong assessment skills and the ability to manage complex patient needs.Experience with controlled‐substance workflows or opioid management is a plus.Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities.Our CommitmentRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
