We focus on maintaining a safe work environment and strive to achieve zero injuries through our safety-first culture.Summary of the RoleThe Warehouse Specialist will manage all activities related to the functioning of the warehouse in order to meet or exceed customer expectations and to achieve facility and company goals.ResponsibilitiesMust maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouseIdentifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for pick up, delivery or shippingHandles customer pickupsMakes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvementsAssists with physical inventoryProperly label and store received goods for future identification and retrievalMaintain all warehouse locations, bins, and racks in a neat and orderly fashionProperly keep designated stocking locations stocked as requiredPull stock for all "Pick- Pack-Ship" orders for daily customersProvide correct parts and materials for daily production ordersPerforms other related duties as requiredSkills and AbilitiesBasic computer skills in MS Office, internet and emailExperience working in ERP or Inventory system such as P21 a plusSelf-starterExcellent attention to detailApplicants should possess the ability to interact with customers, and team-members in a professional manner. Some leadership experience a plus.Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and writtenRequires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure.
