For more information about the Tribe, visit www.aguacaliente-nsn.gov.Job Description SummaryIn coordination with the Director, responsible for planning and supervising a wide range of medium sized (10 to 40 million) hospitality construction projects from start to finish. The Senior Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures, and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best, cost-effective results.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other Duties May Be Assigned)Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. Oversee budgets, including tracking metricsCoordinate construction at facilities, including arrival of equipment, personnel needed. Monitor progress, issue progress payments. Make inspections as necessary to ensure conformity to plans and specifications. Advise contractors and company personnel of inspection results. Discuss and resolve problems regarding deviations from plans.Maintain schedule and budget of job, by initiating and attending meetings with contractors, engineers, architects, and clients. Identify and promptly notify management of issues impacting project schedule and/or budget. Manage and conduct "value engineering" at required milestones in order to maintain project budget.Process and track change order requests and approvals, transmittals and submittalsOrganize and coordinate field personnel with the job superintendent regarding subcontractors and vendorsAssist in hiring and managing sub-contractors. QualificationsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMust have 5-7 years' direct hospitality or commercial construction and project management experience working for a developer or general contractorBachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture or similar field preferred Experience with all software associated with construction managementExtensive knowledge of hospitality or commercial construction practices, processes, design, finance, and management;Experience managing multiple construction projects.Able to communicate complex concepts, business unit/corporate vision and strategy to colleagues and clients; performs active listeningProficient personal computer skills including current administrative, financial, and scheduling software or similar products.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesConstruction Project ManagersACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS AND INFORMATIONConfidential and sensitive informationSIGNATORY ABILITYConstruction related formsWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDSTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work.
