Neonatology Physician

Shift(s) Description: MDs in house 8a-4p; On-call from hotel or home 4p-8a. Must be able to work 8 shifts per month. Average length of time to credential: 90-120 daysFacility bed size: 133Level III NICUExpedited privileges are available for those with clean file.Shifts are 24hours (in house 8a-4p; call from hotel 4p-8a) 9-bed NICU, 20-bed newborn nursery900 annual deliveriesAverage Daily Census: NICU 2-3; Newborns 5-8C-section rate: Approx. 30%EMR: Charting: Meditech and PremiEHRShift Responsibilities and Procedures:Rounds in NICU/newborns, admissions/discharges, and attendance emergency C-sections (when NNP is not present)Daily Patient Load: approx. 5-7 total between NICU and Newborn nurse Requirement: Must be Board Certified - will not accept Board Eligible candidates.Must have at least 2 years of clinical experience outside of residency.
