The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the accurate management and control of inventory within a manufacturing environment focused on sonar imaging equipment. This role ensures materials are properly received, stored, tracked, and issued to support production, sales, and service. The position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient stockroom operations, supporting work order fulfillment, and enabling on-time shipping of finished goods. Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Stockroom ManagementMaintain an organized, clean, and efficient stockroomAccurately track inventory levels using ERP/MRP systemsPerform routine cycle counts and participate in physical inventory auditsMonitor stock levels and flag shortages or discrepanciesEnsure proper labeling, storage, and handling of sensitive electronic and mechanical componentsMonitor consumables to be sure our minimum quantity levels are maintainedWork Order Processing & Material KittingReview and release work orders for productionPick and kit materials required for assembly, service, and manufacturing jobsEnsure kits are complete, accurate, and delivered on time to production teamsReturn unused materials to inventory and reconcile discrepanciesWork closely with Finance team on adjustments made to inventoryShipping & Receiving SupportCross train with our Shipping & Receiving and serve as a backup resource for when that area requires support.
