OverviewWork and train with the industry's finest professionals! As a Human Resources Intern you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge and training in a real-world setting. Under supervision of Prince's HR Leaders, you will be assisting with facilitation of HR programs and initiatives related to attracting, developing and retaining a talented and engaged workforce.What you will be doingCoordinate the on-boarding process including scheduling orientation and new hire paperworkPrepares status change forms, offer letters, etc., as directed by HR Business PartnerSupport regional Early Talent Management efforts to include organizing career fairs, college visits, student interviews, internships and co-op programsFacilitate interview arrangements for candidatesCollaborate with a variety of functions including Human Resources, Communications, Operations, and other groupsAssist with candidate pre-boarding activitiesAssist with off-boarding activitiesAssist with data analysisSupport and coordinate employee engagement activitiesSupport and assist with company-wide policy and initiative roll-outSupport published corporate policiesEnsure compliance with all local, state, union and federal regulatory agency regulations and requirementsPerform additional assignments per management's directionWhat we are looking forMust be currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related major, from an accredited university.Must be results oriented, high initiative, ability to influence others and work in a team environmentStrong computer skills including MS Office applicationsMust have strong judgment and high integrityWhy work for usSome of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are:Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off programIndustry leading 401(k)/RRSPMedical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vison and/or Provincial MedicalWellness benefits & Employee Assistance ProgramTuition Reimbursement ProgramWe are an EEO/AA/ADA/Veterans employer.Salary MinSalary Max
