One of my top public accounting firms is looking to hire multiple Tax Managers.This openings are due to growth. The partners are a mix from big and small firms and they like to hire not only based on technical skills but personality is an important factor as well.They have great mentors and a leadership program. This firm doesn’t have politics, which will be a refreshing work environment.The firm promotes a work-life balance with the current environment of working from home where they embrace being able to take a walk during the day, log-off to be with your family and not check emails on the weekends.They also have social hours and workout classes that you can log onto remotely.Essential ResponsibilitiesLead and manage complex tax compliance engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards, within budget and deadline expectationsIdentify and respond to client issues in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner.Manage expectations effectively through clear and continuous communication with the client and/or other accountantCommunicate advice and answer questions of other associates relating to clients' accounting and tax situationsParticipate in and provide leadership for firm initiatives and projectsPlan and schedule engagements with clients and firm resourcesQualifications7+ years solid experience in corporate, partnerships and individual compliance.BS and/or Masters in Accounting.Must be a CPASuperb communications skills (written and verbal).Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Excellent organizational and analytical skills.Able to problem solve and think both creatively and logically.Strong tax research skills.
