A group of five nephrologists are assigned to the South San Francisco practice.
All physicians must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or already hold a California medical license.
Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Nephrology (BE/BC)
Eligible for or holding a California medical license
Experience with general nephrology practices, including clinic appointments (telehealth and in person), hospital calls, weekend call rotations, and dialysis rounding
Responsibilities
Provide patient care through clinic visits, telehealth, and inpatient services.
Participate in weekend call duties (approximately one call every 4‑5 weeks).
Engage in dialysis rounding and chronic kidney disease care.
Collaborate with renal case managers, medical assistants, and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive care.
Contribute to the department's chronic kidney disease and modality education programs.
