Always ensuring the freshest products are being used to prepare our dishes, the line is maintained clean, organized and stocked throughout the shift. The ideal Line Cook candidate has full service restaurant experience and understands the company's costs and insures proper recipe adherence. Always follows proper health code requirements, food rotation, labeling and sanitation practices.Requirements/Qualifications:Able to follow written recipes and order ticketsAbility in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progressOutstanding communication and leadership skillsCurrent knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processesExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresAccuracy and speed in executing tasksFamiliar with industry's best practicesAbility to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a dayComfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environmentExcellent verbal communication and organizational skillsMust be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
