Staff Accountant

DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Hudson, Massachusetts. This role involves managing financial records, preparing audit schedules, and ensuring accurate account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP systems and a strong command of Excel.Responsibilities:- Prepare and record day-to-day journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.- Develop and maintain audit schedules to ensure compliance with financial standards.- Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of ledger balances.- Assist with payroll entries as needed, ensuring timely and precise processing.- Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve accounting processes.- Provide support during audits by supplying necessary documentation and explanations.- Analyze financial data to identify trends and suggest improvements.- Generate reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.Requirements- Proven experience in accounting, including journal entries and general ledger management.- Proficiency with accounting systems for handling financial tasks.- Strong ability to perform account reconciliations accurately.- Solid knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.- Familiarity with payroll processes and entries.- Detail-oriented approach to ensure precision in financial documentation.- Excellent organizational and communication skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
