Bonding Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bonding Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise bonding processes in joining, laminating, or sealing materials - such as composites, metals, or electronics - using adhesives, resins, or heat, adhering to strick quality standards and blueprints. You prepare surfaces, operate curing equipment like ovens, and inspect finished parts to ensure structural integrity.
Duties
Bonding Applications: Apply adhesives, resins, and sealants to parts according to technical drawings and work instructions.
Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor curing equipment, including ovens, to set temperature, pressure and timing.
Safety: Handle chemical agents using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety procedures.
Experience
Experience: Previous experience within a manufacturing environment involving bonding or assembly processes. 1-2 years' experience
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Dexterity: Strong manual dexterity for handling small parts and delicate materials.
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
Aptitude: Detail-oriented, with the ability to follow precise instructions and work in a team environment.
