If so, we'd love to welcome you to the Holiday Inn family as our next Line Cook!What You'll Be Doing:As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you'll have a mixture of cooking and cleaning duties, depending on the specific needs of the day. Your responsibilities will include:Preparing and cooking menu items for breakfast buffet, restaurant and banquets.Setting up and stocking workstations with ingredients and equipment.Regularly disinfecting all food and beverage workspaces.Washing and organizing dishes, pots, utensils, and cookware.Sanitizing kitchen equipment, storage areas, walk-ins, ovens, and dry storage.Assisting with food prep, event setup, and breakdown.Supporting the team with any other tasks needed to keep operations running smoothly, with a positive, can-do attitude.What We're Looking For:Experience: Previous Line-Cook experience required.Certification: Valid Food Handlers Certification required.ServSafe and OLCC certifications a plus.Physical Requirements:Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.Bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.Qualifications:Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.Energetic, enthusiastic, and eager to exceed expectations.Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines without compromising quality.Availability: Flexible schedule including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.The Holiday Inn Portland Airport is conveniently located near Portland Airport and features 284 guest rooms, 9,000 sq. ft of event space and dining in our Latitude 45 Degrees Restaurant and Lounge.
