Job Description Description: Engineering Intern - CAD & Manufacturing Support Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to support our Manufacturing Engineering team. This role provides hands-on experience working on real engineering projects focused on CAD design, tooling development, and manufacturing process improvements. The intern will work closely with engineers and production teams to support design updates, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities · Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software · Assist with tooling, fixture, and manufacturing cell layout design · Support engineering change documentation and drawing updates · Develop and update work instructions and manufacturing documentation · Participate in process improvement and cost-reduction projects · Assist engineering team with technical problem solving on production issues Qualifications · Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) · Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar) · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills · Ability to work both independently and within a team environment · Interest in manufacturing processes and hands-on engineering work What You'll Gain · Real-world engineering experience supporting active manufacturing projects · Exposure to production environments and cross-functional engineering teams · Experience with CAD design, engineering documentation, and process improvement This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical engineering experience while contributing to meaningful projects that support manufacturing operations.
