OverviewJoin ENERCON as an Electrical Engineer! Our Federal Services Group is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join the team. Our team supports our federal clients to solve a wide range of critical engineering problems. Our work covers both nuclear and non-nuclear facilities as well as facility-related infrastructure. Services range from full-scale design of new or replacement facilities to life cycle management to maximize their useful life and availability to assisting with the decommissioning of facilities that have reached the end of their useful life.ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrical Engineer, you'll drive innovation, lead cross-disciplinary collaboration, and guide projects from design to successful field execution. With a focus on excellence and teamwork, you'll solve complex challenges and inspire your team to achieve outstanding results.Collaboration & CoordinationInterface with various engineering disciplines and understand project rolesDesign & EstimatingPrepare design studies, scopes, and engineering estimatesProcurement & SpecificationsDevelop equipment procurement specs, evaluate bids, and select equipmentTechnical ExpertisePerform electrical calculations and solve complex technical problemsField EngagementTravel for walkdowns, field installations, and start-upLeadership & MotivationLead teams with a positive attitude to achieve project goals aligned with ENERCON's excellence standardsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited universityProfessional Engineering LicenseMinimum 10 years of experience with design of electrical systems including, but not limited to:Preparing engineering calculations/analyses, design drawings and engineering reportsApplying electrical engineering expertise to the design and qualification of structures, systems, and componentsProducing procurement specifications and construction specifications (electrical sections)Attending project meetings and performing field walkdownsMentoring junior engineersExperience working on DOE federal projectsGood writing, presentation and communication skillsAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teamsProficient in Word and ExcelMust be a U.S. CitizenPay RangeUSD $145,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.Additional InformationAbout ENERCON:At Enercon Services, Inc.
