Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients’ goals Collect and record data on client behaviors, skill acquisition, and progress using precise data collection methods Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting, promoting independence Use behavioral management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors Support teaching sessions that focus on communication, social skills, academic skills, and life skills tailored to each individual’s needs Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members to develop and update care plans that reflect client progress and changing needs Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred Strong understanding of special education principles and behavior management strategies Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and team members Comfortable assisting with ADLs and implementing teaching strategies in various settings Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is a plus Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive!
