Electrical Controls Designer
Our client, a well-established industrial automation company in the St. Paul area, is seeking an Electrical Controls Designer to join its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build real-world experience in electrical design and industrial automation while working alongside experienced engineers and designers.This role offers hands-on involvement in custom automation projects and is ideal for someone with AutoCAD Electrical experience or training who is looking to grow in a supportive engineering environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate electrical schematics using AutoCAD ElectricalDevelop power one-line diagrams, network layouts, and P&IDsProduce control panel assembly drawingsUpdate, maintain, and organize engineering documentationWork closely with engineers and designers on customized industrial control system projectsQualificationsExperience with AutoCAD Electrical drafting or designAutoCAD Electrical training or certificationStrong attention to detail and accuracyInterest in industrial automation, controls, or electrical systemsDegree or coursework in Industrial Controls, Automation, Drafting, or a related field is a plusAbout the OpportunityOur client is a respected automation solutions provider known for delivering custom, technically challenging projects that support manufacturing equipment and industrial processes.
