Dump Truck Driver

Dump Truck Drivers Highland Paving Co., LLC - We have openings for Dump Truck Driver(s), operating out of the Leland, NC asphalt plant and servicing job-sites throughout the Southeastern region. Seeking dedicated individuals that work well individually and in a crew environment - with quality of work, availability and efficiency as part of your work ethic. Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities: Practice safe driving habits. Follow all state and national safety large truck regulations and standards. Maintain vehicle equipment. Complete documentation for job costing and time. Ensure cargo is secured. Accurately follow maps and directions for time efficient routes. Inspect truck daily for damage or maintenance problems (tire wear, dents, etc.) Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving, to supervisors. Maneuver truck and cargo into a variety of worksites. Truck Driver Requirements & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent certification; additional truck driving school certification or education a plus. Must have clean MVR Previous professional driving experience or related experience a plus, but will train new drivers. Individuals with prior experience driving for the Department of Transportation/DOT and/or with Asphalt experience are encouraged to apply. Competitive salary and benefits.
