Marketing Specialist

Role: Assists in coordinating and executing PFCU's marketing, communications, public relations and social media platforms.  Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Develop and maintain proficiency in marketing software, digital platforms, and creative tools used for graphic design, visual content creation, branding, email marketing, analytics, reporting, and production of marketing materials. Create visually compelling assets such as digital ads, social media graphics, web visuals, print collateral, and promotional materials that align with brand standards.Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, print, and community outreach channels. Assist in managing campaign timelines, approvals, and deliverables to ensure initiatives are launched on time and within budget. Work with internal teams and external partners to support smooth campaign rollout and consistent brand presentation across all channels. Create and maintain marketing content across the credit union’s website, blog, email, social media, and promotional materials. Write and design clear, compelling, and SEO-optimized content including web pages, articles, landing pages, and product/service messaging to enhance search visibility, engagement, and overall brand voice.Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance across channels, tracking key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and overall engagement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and optimize ongoing performance.Implements, updates, and assists in the development while adhering to the credit union's monthly/quarterly/annual marketing calendar coinciding with the organization's budget and goals.Coordinate and support public relations, community relations, sponsorships, and branch events to promote the credit union and strengthen brand awareness. Organize event logistics, including ordering giveaways, coordinating staffing, and producing signage, displays, and promotional materials to ensure a consistent and engaging presence.Assist in marketing research and analyze campaign performance, website traffic, SEO rankings, social media engagement, member trends, and competitive insights. Evaluate performance of visual and creative assets and recommend refinements to improve marketing effectiveness and member reach.Performs other job related duties as assigned.Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.Knowledge and Skills:  Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.  Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).  Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.  Other Skills: Experience with social media platforms, website platforms, graphic design and adobe software preferred.  Physical Requirements: Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 5 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must by capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
