Sales Manager, PA
Role OverviewThis role will involve travel all around PA to support the individual AEs in their respective territories.Green Thumb is seeking a talented Sales Manager to oversee our growing Pennsylvania cannabis program. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible to ensure we meet and exceed our distribution targets and revenue growth targets. As a process manager you will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, influencing and educating our customers, developing sales & production strategies, maintaining budget/sales forecasts and manage the overall execution of the sales plan. You thrive in a growth, gritty environment and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive in. This role is best suited for an extroverted go-getter who doesn't mind phone calls, driving and ample facetime. You will be in dispensaries often interacting with a variety of clientele. Above all, you will embody Green Thumb's people first culture.ResponsibilitiesOversee all functions of the sales lifecycle including sales forecasting, direct relationship management and development, negotiation of buying agreements and lead conversion, deal evaluations and approvalsIn partnership with Sales Director, develop annual and quarterly revenue plans, prepare monthly sales reports by product and channel to evaluate brand and product performance and develop annual and quarterly sales plansEnsure stores have proper inventory levels through sales tools, smart communication and in-store visitsUnderstand and provide insights on sales drivers and recommend new opportunities to drive incremental growthManage established team of Account Executives (4). Responsible for their development along with meeting Revenue and Margin goalsPartner with Finance and Operations on forecasting activities, developing revenue targets, budgeting and developing sales operations processes and compensation plansMonitor the market to observe emerging trends and competitionWork with Branding and Marketing teams to develop advertising strategy and promotional activitiesQualifications4+ years of outside sales preferably in consumer packaged goods (food & beverage, preferred)Knowledge of cannabis industry, regulations, market trends and competition highly preferredDemonstrated experience of exceeding sales quotasProven ability to build and execute a sales strategy to generate and develop new businessExperience of P&L and budget managementWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office toolsExperience working in sales management systems (i.e. Salesforce)Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulnessAdapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environmentPossesses a high level of critical thinkingOperates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential informationMust understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green ThumbMust have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the lawsExperience leading and motivating a teamBachelors degree preferredAdditional RequirementsMust pass any and all required background checksMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryMust possess valid driver's licenseMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageMust be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industryJ-18808-Ljbffr
