Construction Project Manager (Oneonta)

Project Manager, Oneonta, NY area.LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY, PLEASE!This is a full-time role for one of our clients!The successful candidate will have some experience estimating construction work in multiple industries.Should be willing to lead their projects while ensuring schedules, safety, relationships with vendors and subcontractors, work quality, and cost estimates are maintained throughout the project's progress.The Project Manager is responsible for the overall performance of their projects and should possess the traits and skills necessary to plan, execute, monitor, and deliver a high-quality projects to the customer.Responsibilities:Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for construction projectsVisit local job sites to gather information and assess project requirementsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliersManage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of qualityCollaborate with project teams to ensure that project plans, schedules, and budgets are aligned with customer expectationsMonitor and report on project progress, identify potential issues and provide solutions to keep projects on trackEducation & Experience:A degree in engineering, architecture, or construction is preferredExperience in construction estimating and project management, submittals and scheduling.Commercial construction experience strongly preferred.Experience with SAGE 300 CRE (Formerly Timberline) software a plusStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesOpen to local travel!
