Intensive Family Intervention Paraprofessional for Henry County (Full time)
The Intensive Family Intervention Paraprofessional position is focused on providing intensive in-home individual and family mental health skill-building and case management services. Utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, this role supports children and adolescents at high risk of out-of-home placement or returning home from inpatient or residential treatment. The paraprofessional works closely with families to promote mental health stability, enhance coping skills, and facilitate successful community reintegration.ResponsibilitiesProvide intensive in-home mental health skill-building services to children, adolescents, and their families.Deliver case management services including goal planning, progress monitoring, and linkage to community resources.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, schools, and community agencies, to support client goals.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress notes, and reporting as required.Advocate for client needs to promote stability and prevent out-of-home placement.Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.RequirementsA Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (psychology, social work, human services, education, or related).2 years experience working with children, adolescents, and families in mental health or social services settings.Knowledge of evidence-based and trauma-informed care practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet client needs.
