Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This long-term contract position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining both in-office and remote days after initial training. The ideal candidate will excel in managing collections, reconciliations, and cash applications while contributing to the overall efficiency of our accounts receivable processes.Responsibilities:- Manage commercial collections for retail customers, ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding balances.- Apply cash receipts accurately and reconcile accounts to maintain financial integrity.- Handle contracts, deductions, and billing activities with precision and attention to detail.- Utilize Excel and other tools to perform reconciliations and generate reports.- Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve accounts receivable workflows.- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial transactions.- Assist with billing tasks as needed, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.- Leverage prior experience with accounts receivable systems, such as NetSuite, to enhance operational efficiency.- Provide exceptional customer service while addressing payment-related inquiries.- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable activities. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including collections and reconciliations.- Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.- Familiarity with accounts receivable software such as NetSuite is preferred.- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex financial data accurately.- Excellent communication skills for interacting with retail customers and internal teams.- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.- Prior experience in cash applications and billing functions is highly desirable.- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
