Locum Tenens Orthopaedic Surgeon Needed near Tipton, PA (j-227539) Are you a motivated and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon seeking a locum tenens opportunity to provide exceptional surgical care in a dynamic outpatient and inpatient setting? We're seeking a qualified physician to join our team and ensure high-quality surgical services for patients undergoing total joint replacements. What You'll Do: Perform surgical procedures for a variety of orthopaedic conditions, primarily focusing on total joint replacements (knees and hips) in an operating room setting. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients before, during, and after surgery. Conduct preoperative evaluations, order diagnostic tests, and manage postoperative care. Maintain meticulous documentation within the Epic electronic medical record system. Successful completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency program. Minimum of 10 days for credentialing. Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive knowledge base in Orthopaedic Surgery. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Prior experience performing total joint replacements a plus. Additional Information: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing (minimum 2-month commitment preferred) Coverage includes major holidays (4th of July, Thanksgiving, etc.) with no call responsibilities.
