2nd Shift CNC Setup/ Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with proficiency in both lathe and milling operations to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Fanuc controls and be proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Experience with Mori Seiki and Samsung machines will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes and mills to produce precision metal parts. Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, blueprints, or written instructions to set up and operate machines correctly. Adjust machine settings to provide the best output in terms of efficiency and quality. Utilize Fanuc controls to guide and control CNC machines during operations. Measure and inspect completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure operational efficiency. Document production results and process adherence. Work collaboratively with the engineering and quality assurance teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. Shift Times: Monday to Friday: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Saturdays: As needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational schooling preferred. Proven experience as a CNC machinist with expertise in operating both lathes and mills. In-depth understanding of Fanuc controls. Proficiency in reading blueprints and precise measuring instruments. Experience with Mori Seiki and Samsung CNC machines is a big plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Good manual dexterity and the ability to work with hand tools.
