Position Description: Development Manager

Commitment: This is a paid position requiring 40 hours per week. Work duties outside of normal business hours will be required at times.

Pay: Salary range $55,000 to $59,000 based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Individual Donors (40%):
○ Manage annual fundraising campaigns and appeals.
○ Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors.
○ Implement donor recognition and stewardship programs.
○ Oversee donor communications and database management (Little Green Light).
Events Management (40%):
○ Plan and execute the annual Hope Blooms Brunch signature fundraising event.
○ Manage event logistics, marketing, and volunteer coordination.
○ Organize donor cultivation and fundraising events.
○ Handle event platforms for donations, tickets, sponsorships, and auctions.
Corporate and Civic Engagement (15%):
○ Engage with local groups, corporations, and communities for donations, drives,
sponsorships, and grants.
Other Development Tasks (5%):
○ Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
● Minimum 3 years in nonprofit development, fundraising, or related field.
● Proven fundraising success, including securing gifts, grants, and sponsorships.
● Strong understanding of fundraising principles and techniques.
● Proficient in donor management software and fundraising platforms.
