An attitude that balances “I can make it better” with “As long as we succeed.” Privacy AnalystLocation: National Capital Region (NCR)Clearance: Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)Education: Master’s degreeExperience: 4 yearsResponsibilitiesThe Privacy Analyst serves as a senior privacy subject matter expert supporting a government science and technology and research, development, test, and evaluation environment. The position requires expert knowledge of government privacy requirements, mature judgment, independent decision-making, and the ability to advise senior Government personnel. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide expert privacy analysis, policy interpretation, and advisory support to senior Government personnel.Apply advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices in the government privacy field to resolve important questions and support defensible decisions.Independently plan, coordinate, and execute privacy-related analysis, documentation, review, and communication of findings.Support privacy law application and compliance for S&T, RDT&E, or programs of similar size and scale to DARPA.Prepare clear and authoritative written products, briefings, decision papers, memoranda, and correspondence tailored to senior audiences.Coordinate with legal, policy, security, technical, program, and administrative stakeholders.Review sensitive information handling practices and workflows to identify privacy implications, compliance gaps, and mitigation options.QualificationsThe candidate must have the following qualifications:Master’s degree.Minimum of four (4) years of related DoW or Intelligence Community (IC) privacy law application experience supporting a S&T, RDT&E organization, mission, or programs of similar size and/or scale to DARPA’s is required.Active TS/SCI clearance.Expert credentials and recognized authority in the government privacy field.Mature judgment and demonstrated ability to advise senior Government personnel.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to make decisions independently, resolve important questions, and plan and coordinate privacy-related work.Experience using advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices in the government privacy field.The Following Qualifications Are DesiredJuris Doctorate degree is preferredExperience supporting DARPA, DoD, Intelligence Community, or advanced research organizations.Experience developing privacy compliance documentation, decision papers, risk assessments, and senior-level staff packages.Legal, privacy, compliance, or information governance credentials relevant to Government privacy practice.Travel: Occasional local and CONUS travel for meetings, reviews, training, or mission requirements.Other RequirementsE-Verify Notice of ParticipationThis employer participates in E-Verify.
