Job Description Description:Job SummaryThe primary responsibility of the Material Handler is to ensure accuracy of material used in the Extrusion process. Assist the Extrusion team where needed. This position requires a high level of experience and handling of a forklift.Duties/ Responsibilities:Verify current silo mixRecognize differences in materials in usePull accurate material and fill appropriate ratio of materials into silosPlan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders.Sort Pallets (Good / Broken / Foreign) Move to storage after fullSort used bagsCheck Dryer tanks – Temp, Fill levels, Flow, D.P. ReadingsClean Dust Tanks and SocksClean Tanks / Vacuum Pump areasCheck Regrind bagsClean and organize various sized cardboard cores.Assist Extrusion Operators with machine shutdown/startupAssist with clean up of purgeAssist with Roll ChangesAssist with Screen ChangesAdhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.Performs other related duties, as assigned.Requirements:Required Skills/Abilities:Experience in a manufacturing environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with a diverse audience at various levelsExcellent time management and organizational skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving skillsDetail oriented and commitment to follow through to completion.Strong interpersonal skills; Strong team playerAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.Education and Experience:High School Diploma required.Minimum 3-5yrs Forklift experiencePhysical Requirements: ·Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and walkingMust be able to safely operator a forklift
