About The RoleScheduler I or II, T&DThe Scheduler, T&D is a key role for successful project planning and execution. The Scheduler I or II is responsible to prepare, monitor, update, maintain, and submit contract schedules on multiple projects as assigned. We are experienced in delivering reliable, high-quality infrastructure solutions to meet the growing demands of the power and utility industry.Essential FunctionsPerform detailed scheduling, including the development and updating of project schedules, activity relationships, variance reports, and progress updatesDevelop and produce project related reportsAttend weekly project meetings to review schedule and plans, gather status updates, and provide continual scheduling support for periodic updates and claims mitigationProduce quantifiable data for use in mitigating schedule delay and disruption by other tradesRegular and predictable attendanceEssential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office and an appropriate remote location consistent with Company policyUnderstand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standardsAdditional Responsibilities May IncludeDevelop Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules for contracted projects and proposalsSupport leadership and multiple project teams by preparing, monitoring, and updating construction schedules in Primavera P6 or Microsoft ProjectMay work with project management to assist with various duties such as writing RFI’s, preliminary schedule to be included in RFP responses, miscellaneous tracking/monitoring, and preparing submittals for the client, i.e. As-Built documentsDevelop revenue forecasts from the project plan/schedule and update monthly with guidance from project managementOther duties as assignedABOUT YOUQualificationsScheduler IMinimum 2 years of experience with Primavera P6 scheduling softwareMinimum 2 years of experience construction schedulingMinimum 2 years experience with Primavera P6Experience in transmission, distribution, substation or renewable construction projects preferredScheduler IIMinimum 4 years of construction scheduling experience with Primavera P6 scheduling softwareMinimum 4 years of construction scheduling experienceMinimum 4 years experience with Primavera P6Experience in transmission, distribution, substation or renewable construction projects preferredBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience (minimum 4 years of experience operating Primavera P6 scheduling software) considered in lieu of degreeCST (Certified Scheduling Technician) certification is preferredKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesScheduler IAdvanced proficiency in creating, maintaining/updating and reporting schedules in Primavera P6 scheduling softwareAbility to plan, monitor, and report project schedules to customersSelf-motivated with ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skillsStrong technical skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Project and ExcelProactive self-starter with demonstrated initiativeExcellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skillsAbility to travel up to 25% Scheduler IIExpert proficiency in creating, maintaining/updating and reporting schedules in Primavera P6 scheduling softwareThorough knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, and practicesAbility to create and maintain project baselines for frequent schedule updatesWorking knowledge of cost, resource loading, and forecasting within scheduling softwareAbility to plan, monitor, and report project schedules to the customerAbility to read and interpret construction documents including contracts and drawingsSelf-motivated and able to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skillsProactive self-starter with demonstrated initiativeProficiency with MS Office Suite software, specifically MS Project and ExcelExcellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skillsAbility to travel up to 25%What We OfferCompensation & BenefitsSalary $56,548 – 110,000 / yearCommensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
