Endocrinology Nurse PractitionerA well-established, physician-led group with locations throughout Long Island, is currently seeking to hire a Family Nurse Practitioner. This practice has built a stellar reputation for clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration. 100% outpatient.Key responsibilities include:Serving as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.Diagnosing and treating a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders (hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism), hormone imbalances, and infertility.Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.Referring patients to appropriate specialty services as needed.Providing clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.Collaborating with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.Providing clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.Staying compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.Contributing to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.Qualifications include:BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing schoolTrained in EndocrinologyNYS RN & NP license, BLS, Board CertifiedStrong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice is requiredEntrepreneurial mindset with an ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.8+ years experience as a NPBenefits include:Highly competitive salary and benefitsCollaborative, professionally fulfilling work environment with strong clinical and administrative support.
