Editor, Content Operations

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Content Editor to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of our HR content portfolio in a fast-paced and innovative environment.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and migrate employee-facing content to a new content management platform.Ensure content accuracy and relevance by conducting thorough reviews and updates prior to migration.Participate in content testing and validation to guarantee successful migration and data integrity.Transform long-form content into reusable fragments that align with new content needs and audiences.Contribute to the development of style guidelines and content standards to optimize content for AI tools.Manage content workflows and identify areas for improvement in content management systems.Respond to customer requests for content creation and updates in line with defined timelines and processes.SkillsMinimum of 4 years of professional experience in content management systems, such as Adobe Experience Manager or Contentful.At least 2 years of project management experience with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple stakeholders.Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.Experience managing content operations for AI applications is essential.Preferred SkillsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.Familiarity with reusable or “headless content” and information architecture.Strong judgment and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse teams.A proactive approach to learning and a curiosity about content management processes.At Horizontal, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.
