Quality Inspector

Pay Rate: $20/hour Location: Willoughby, OH Shift - 1st shift, 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday Requirements: Previous experience doing quality inspection in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of precision measuring instruments, tools, and equipment. Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills Good verbal and written communication skills HS Diploma or GED required Ability to pass pre-employment screenings What will you do: Visually and dimensionally inspect ceramic core products to customer specifications. Utilize various inspection tools and equipment including stationary, laser and transducer gages, checking blocks, hand-held inspection tools, comparator, X-Ray, and OASIS inspection computer. Perform inspection process meeting production goals and quality requirements. Assist in calibration of company inspection tools as needed. Maintain required documentation and records; including customer required shipping documents (certifications, dimensional data, SDAR/deviation, etc.) Help maintain Quality filing and record keeping system. Communicate effectively with manager, lead person, other company personnel and outside customers during source inspection to address any issues/concerns. Assure proper completion of end of shift duties including production reporting, required TPM, and 6S activities Willingness to cross-train in other company job functions is expected.
