Shampoo Assistant

This is a fast-paced, client-focused position where you’ll play a key role in providing an excellent salon experience while working alongside talented stylists and support staff. What You’ll Do: Client Service: Assist stylists with rinsing colors & hilites, applying toners, shampooing and conditioning clients' hair- while educating them on the products being used and their benefits. Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure the salon is clean and well-maintained by handling closing duties, laundry, dishwashing, and sweeping. Team Support: Assist the stylists and the rest of the team in daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and clients have a fantastic experience. What We’re Looking For: Strong Sales & Customer Service Skills: You must enjoy working with people and have the ability to educate and sell products with confidence. Ability to Work Evenings & Weekends: The ideal candidate must be available to work until 10 PM (at the latest) during the week and must have weekend availability. Cleanliness & Organization: A strong attention to detail is required for maintaining the salon’s cleanliness and organization. Team Player: Ability to work well with others, providing support wherever needed to ensure a great client experience. Why Join Us? Compensation: This role is compensated through a combination of an hourly base rate plus tips from clients and stylists. While the base hourly rate starts below minimum wage, tips consistently bring the average hourly earnings to well above minimum wage.
