This includes troubleshooting, problem solving and field testing of new products, application ideas and equipment. In addition, this individual will help support the corporate concept of total customer satisfaction as a way of life.Primary Responsibilities IncludeMaintain defoamer and chemical business at sugar, potato, ethanol and other current manufacturing accountsAssist in closing business where opportunities have been uncovered by sales repsInstall, maintain and repair feed systems such as metering pumps and polymer dilution systemsBe proactive in identifying leads, qualifying them and closing opportunities that will enhance Hydrite’s long-term market viabilitySurvey plants, utilize the various tools available to determine best-in-class solutions and offer unique chemical programs for our customersEffectively manage time and territory to maximize productive activitiesWrite timely chemical treatment proposals and service reportsMaintain chemical sample supplies and equipment required to service accountsREPORTING STRUCTUREThis position reports to the Sales Director and works closely with the Account Manager in the region.Preferred Experience4 year bachelor’s degree in a science related field, or 2-year tech school degree preferredMinimum of 3-5 years field experience in industrial manufacturing plants1-3 years sales and/or field experience is desiredMust possess strong problem solving, troubleshooting and “people” skillsMust have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.CompensationSalary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 (salary is negotiable and based on applicable experience.
