WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and expand our Mechanical Department. This is not just another senior engineer position. We are looking for someone capable of operating as a department leader and future partner-level contributor within the firm. The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly organized, experienced managing staff, and motivated to help grow the business. Candidates with existing industry relationships and the ability to bring in clients or develop new business are strongly encouraged to apply. WHAT YOU WILL DOLead and manage ANZ's Mechanical Department Mentor and oversee a team of mechanical engineers and designers Perform HVAC system design, calculations, and equipment selection Review and coordinate construction documents and consultant coordination Perform QA/QC reviews of mechanical designs Assist with project management, scheduling, budgeting, and staffing Review shop drawings, RFIs, and construction submittals Conduct field surveys and site visits as required Work directly with ownership on department growth and operational strategy Help develop and expand client relationships and business opportunities Projects include: VRF systems Geothermal Systems Central Plant design Commercial kitchen exhaust systems Ventilation and smoke control systems WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering PE License strongly preferred 10+ years of MEP consulting engineering experience Prior experience managing or mentoring junior staff Strong HVAC systems and controls design experience Proficiency in AutoCAD required Revit experience preferred but not required Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to independently manage projects and coordinate with clients COMPENSATION & GROWTH OPPORTUNITYWe are specifically looking for a long-term leader who wants to grow with the company.
