Key Activities Ensuring that projects are organized and delivered on time on budget and within scope Coordinate internal resources, third parties/vendors, and with other contractors for the flawless execution of project Communicate regularly with electrical and general contractors to coordinate and manage schedules and project information. Obtain all project documents such as permits, submittals, plans, specs, cut sheets, O&M materials, & as-builts Utilize and manipulate project management software to follow the project process and manage resources and people for a successful project. Researching product information and needs for installation Create list of project materials to be ordered Perform periodic job walks when needed Create and organize project information for technicians and programmers Conducting/coordinating project billing Create and manage projects to meet installation goals and forecasting details Prepare project equipment to be delivered or taken by techs from shop as needed Review job tracking on a regular basis to be able to spot if/where/why projects are not meeting or beating budget Schedule inspections as needed Organize and implement change orders when being made aware of scope of work change Update monthly project invoice tracking sheet and project schedule of values for manager’s financial report on a daily basis Coordinate schedules of project team (design, programming, technicians, subcontractors) as needed for the projects Perform risk management to minimize project risks Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Project Management or 3+ years of prior project management experience in the construction or security industry Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking Strong ability to coordinate many moving pieces into a seamless process Strong ability to prioritize time and project needs Ability to adapt to change in order to meet project goals Must have experience using software to organize tasks and conduct business Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications Basic budgeting and financial forecasting skills Benefits All training and materials provided 8 hours per year of paid community volunteering hours Paid vacation and holidays 401K (Traditional or Roth plan) – company matches 50% on the dollar up to 10% of wage Health, Life, Dental, Vision insurance paid for our employees Employee Assistance Program Classes and opportunities for personal enrichment.
