Project Engineer

Summary/Objective HPP Food Services is a leading food/beverage manufacuring company located in southern california. The company has an amazing opportunity with benefits for a Jr. Engineer in the Buena Park area whose primary role will be to analyze, propose, develop and implement operations related projects. The Project Engineer works closely with the Director of Manufacturing and Managers to design and implement these projects. Responsibilities and duties 1. Collect all the relevant information needed to develop a selected project. 2. Analyze, propose and develop the project. 3. Implement and train all parties involved in the project. 4. Follow up with expectations of the project. 5. Make corrections to the project, if necessary. 6. Develop software programming if the project requires it. 7. Research on software and hardware devices to help improve our operations. 8. Calculate costs and savings of the projects. 9. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and skills 1. QMS (Quality Management Systems): ISO 9001, Six Sigma, TQM, etc. 2. Software programming. 3. Database management. 4. Microsoft Window, Microsoft Office Suite. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 6. Problem solving/analysis. 7. Stress tolerance. Experience 1. Software development project.
