Encompass AdministratorRole SummaryThe Encompass Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, governance, and optimization of the Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS). This role ensures business rules, workflows, forms, users, and reporting are aligned with operational and compliance requirements.This is a configuration-focused role (no heavy coding), serving as the system steward for mortgage operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Configuration & MaintenanceConfigure and maintain business rules (field triggers, milestone rules, advanced coding logic).Manage personas, roles, and user permissions.Maintain custom fields, input forms, print forms, and loan templates.Configure loan programs, workflows, milestone management, and alerts.Manage system settings for compliance (TRID, HMDA, RESPA, etc.).Governance & Change ManagementDocument system configurations and changes.Participate in release management and regression testing.Maintain sandbox environments for testing.Ensure changes follow change-control protocols.Reporting & Data IntegrityCreate and maintain custom reports and dashboards.Monitor data quality and loan-level integrity.Support audit and compliance reporting requests.User SupportProvide Tier 2 system support.Troubleshoot workflow or rule issues.Train users on system updates and enhancements.Qualifications3–5+ years working in mortgage operations or LOS administration2–4+ years hands-on experience administering EncompassStrong knowledge of business rules, custom forms, and personasWorking knowledge of the end-to-end mortgage lifecycleStrong documentation and communication skills
