VB.Net Developer

Job Position:- VB.NET developer Work Mode:- ONSITE Job Description: The ideal candidate must possess the following: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree Three years of experience in the development of web-based applications At least two years must include development using .NET, C#, VB, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Structured Query Language (SQL) One year experience conforming to and testing for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG) A desire for self-development and continuous improvement Ability to work in a sedentary office environment for several hours at a time Ability to operate standard office equipment including personal computers Ability to perform limited physical activities Ability to communicate effectively Responsibilities: Develops and maintains custom web-based applications and systems using.NET business object development in C# and VB.REST API, Javascript, JSON and XML Develops and maintains data access layer of web-based applications using .Net framework libraries and SQL Server 2012 or higher. Develops and maintains responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript while maintaining WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards. Employs test driven development practices to ensure code functions according to documented requirements Employs continuous integration/continuous delivery concepts when delivering completed code Participates in the software development process following agile methodologies Contributes to architecture and design discussions with a good understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills: Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA Knowledge of the principles and practices of web page development, design, and maintenance Experience developing and modifying web applications using .NET, HTML, CSS, VB, C#, and JavaScript Experience in the use of Structured Query Language (SOL) Experience with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server Experience with AngularJS, Bootstrap, XML, JSON, JQuery, and Web API/REST APls is preferred.
