Accountability.Straton Industries is seeking an MRO Quality Control Inspector to support our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations by performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections of aircraft components throughout the maintenance work cycle. This role is responsible for ensuring all inspection activities comply with applicable FAA regulations, approved technical data, customer requirements, and Repair Station procedures. In this position you are required to be on the FAA Drug and Alcohol Program.This position is well-suited for an inspector who values structure, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance, and who understands the critical role inspection plays in airworthiness and traceability.Opportunities to take on additional responsibilities exist over time based on demonstrated performance and regulatory knowledge.Key Responsibilities:Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of aircraft parts throughout the MRO work cycleVerify maintenance work is performed in accordance with approved technical data, FAA regulations, customer requirements, and Repair Station manualsConduct detailed visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate inspection methods and calibrated gaugesEnsure inspection results are accurately documented and fully traceable to the work performedVerify proper identification, segregation, and handling of rejected, and unserviceable parts to prevent unintended reuseReview job travelers and records to confirm required operations, inspections, and sign-offs are complete and logically sequencedSupport MRB and nonconformance processes as requiredInterface effectively with Operations and other Inspectors to coordinate inspection activitiesIdentify inspection or documentation issues and escalate appropriatelyRequired Skills and Experience:3+ years' experienceWorking knowledge of FAA regulations including FAR Part 145Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical data, and work instructions, with a solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Experience using inspection methods and precision measurement tools accurately and consistentlyCMM operation experience a plusStrong attention to detail with a focus on documentation accuracy and traceabilityHighly organized, self-motivated, and able to adapt in a regulated environmentAbility to recognize nonconformances and support corrective action activitiesEffective verbal and written communication skillsBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Willingness to participate in the Company's Drug and Alcohol Program (required)Why Join Us?Medical and Vision InsuranceFree DentalFree $35,000 Life InsuranceFree Short Term Disability401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off and Holiday PayA team-oriented workplace that values your expertise and contributionsHow to ApplyIf you're passionate about quality, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with an industry leader, we want to hear from you.
