Our continued growth depends on maintaining and expanding our prequalification status across multiple jurisdictions.Position SummaryESS is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Prequalification Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of contractor prequalification and compliance across multiple states and agencies. This role is critical to ensuring ESS remains eligible to bid and perform work in key markets by maintaining accurate, timely, and strategic prequalification submissions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain all contractor prequalification applications with state DOTs, municipalities, and general contractors across ~40 statesPrepare, submit, and track prequalification packages, including financial statements, project history, safety data, and supporting documentationMonitor expiration dates, renewal cycles, and compliance requirements to ensure uninterrupted eligibilityCoordinate with internal departments (finance, estimating, safety, operations, HR) to gather required documentation and updatesMaintain a centralized database of all prequalification statuses, requirements, and deadlinesResearch and track new prequalification opportunities in target marketsEnsure accuracy and consistency of company information across all submissionsBuild and maintain relationships with agency contacts and prequalification administratorsSupport estimating and business development teams with prequalification-related needs during pursuit phasesStay current on regulatory and agency-specific requirements and changesQualifications3+ years of experience in contractor prequalification, compliance, or administration (preferred)Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines across jurisdictions simultaneouslyStrong communication and coordination skills across internal teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with database or compliance tracking systems a plusAbility to handle sensitive financial and corporate information with confidentialityEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
